Skim Milk Proportion?!

Question:

Skim Milk Proportion?

I have trouble making skim milk. My box of skim milk tells me how much skim milk powder to use for one gallon of water. But I only want to make one cup of skim milk at a time.

Can anyone tell me how much skim milk powder and water in measurements (such as tablespoons, teaspoons) i need to make one cup of skim milk?

Answers:
You need 1/3rd cup(5 and 1/3 tablespoons) of non fat dry milk powder for one cup of skim milk.Do not use warm water, the colder the better.

milk using milk powder measure 1/3 cup milk powder into a container and add enough cold water to make 1 cup stir to disolve = 1- cup skimed milk.
I make 2 cups at a time using 2 full cups cold water and 2 --rounded 1/3 cups milk powder this gives you a tad over 2 cups
I use a mason jar with a two cup mark on the jar.( works for me ) it seems to get colder in a glass jar in the frig. hope this is what you were looking for jim b
