Anyone know of a good baked rice recipe?
With added cheese like the one sold in pizza hut. Seafood ,meat will be fine
Answers:
you really don't need a recipie for this. I always just make some white rice in the rice cooker or the stove, mix it with tomatoe sauce, parmesan cheese & mozarella (enough so that the rice sticks together), and whatever else you want in it like ground meat, eggplant, zucchini, artichoke hearts, etc. Make sure that all the ingredients are roughly the same size and are pretty small. I suggest that you mix the rice with the cheese and sauce, etc right when it is done so that it melts the cheese. Then take a baking pan (rectangle or brownie pan, etc.) and grease it with butter and put a little bread crumbs to coat the pan. Fill it with rice mixture and smooth it even. Add any extra sauce and cheese on top, or simply top with more breadcrumbs (Progresso from the blue container is best) and some "dots" of butter.
Try it, its amazing and put whatever you want or have leftover in the refridgerator.

Rice and Cheese Bake

3/4 cup diced Muenster cheese or Monterey Jack
3/4 cup diced Gouda cheese
2 cups cooked rice
1/3 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
3 eggs separated
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash ground red pepper
PREPARATION:
In a large bowl combine cheeses, rice, and bell pepper. In another bowl, beat egg yolks with milk until blended; add seasonings. Pour egg yolk mixture over cheese and rice mixture.
In another bowl beat egg whites until stiff but not dry; fold into the cheese and rice mixture.
Pour into a greased shallow 2-quart baking dish. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for about 35 minutes, or until browned and set.
Serves 4 to 6.
Get cooked rice, some chicken meat and any other ingredients you would want. Lace the dish with butter or oil, very little. Put rice in the dish. Add chicken meat on top of the rice and add a little mayo on the top before putting on the cheese. Bake it until cheese melts.

1 cup green bell peppers, coarsley chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic (or to taste)

seasoning salt (can use regular salt)
pepper
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (use more if you like spicy)
1 cup sliced large pimento stuffed olives
1/2 cup frozen peas (do not thaw)
