Can corn starch be used instead of eggs in any pudding?!

Question:

Can corn starch be used instead of eggs in any pudding?

Answers:
Probably yes for most puddings. I didn't realize there was egg in some puddings. I make puddings without using egg or cornstarch! Pumpkin Pudding, Caramel pudding, Chocolate pudding! What kind of pudding are you thinking of making that actually requires eggs? I don't know any that really need eggs!

are you trying to make a vegan pudding? There are vegan egg "replacers" and you can use a couple of tablespoons of that in addition to the corn starch. Or, you can use firm tofu and soy milk in place of eggs and milk. The tofu will likely give you a better mouth feel texture than just corn starch.

Yeah..it can definitely be used..however..u will need to disguise the taste..I mean..using a lot of cinnamon..and vanilla..lemon zest , etc and make it taste and look natural.

CORN STARCH IS GOOD FOR THICKENING OR MAKING SAUCES,IT IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR EGGS.

yes it can be used but not all puddings will come out well. Tiramisu, for instance, will remain very liquid.
