How would young children enjoy mushrooms?!

Question:

How would young children enjoy mushrooms?

really important!! please help!!!

Answers:
slice up really thinly and ask the children to make faces on their cheese on toast, add tomatoes and onions and they can make the face up and then toast it and enjoy the food after. Or a nice cream of mushroom soup with some nice bread, or stuff a large mushroom with their favourite ingredients and let them cook it in the oven and then enjoy them when they are cooked. A favourite for the kids in my family is: fry a little onion, mushroom and bacon in a small pan, when cooked, open and add a tin of "sketty hoops", cook for a few minutes, pour over either dry bread or toast. Enjoy

I fry them with little oil, bacon and some spring onions, they like them that way

They can't !! They're ick.

However that is my opinion i suppose!

I used to feed my godson mushroom soup which he loved... And if your kids are a bit older Garlic mushrooms always go down well as a side to pizza...

I suppose if it is manchurian then they will love it

breaded mushrooms with a dip?

I think a good tip would be to cut the mushroom up small to introduce the taste and mix it in with other things ... disguise it a little. It's all about subtlety with kids ... anything new instantly makes them suspicious and often they refuse to eat it! Disguise is the best plan until they get used to it!

coat them in icing suger

Mushrooms have always been extremely gross to me.
But, one of my absolute favorite foods from when I was really little was mashed potatoes if you used the right gravy, and I love mushroom gravy.

Childre may enjy mushrooms if you prepare them mushroom soups or mushroom rice or noodles but have a good cheff to prepare them.

For some people it's not the taste, it's the texture that puts them off eating mushrooms (my husband think they are like dead flesh - although I wonder how he knows that!). You can chop up really small and add to things - lots of things - stir frys, pies, mince (spag bol, cottage pie, chili con carne etc.) - you can add them to pizzas - all kids love pizza.

their is nothing wrong with mushrooms and garlic but i would make sure first your kids are not allergic to them.my wife could never eat them.it gives her stomach cramps.

I cut them up really small and hide them in spaghetti sauce, I do this with green peppers and onions too. Food chopper is great and they do not even know they are eating them until they are done and then they always say oh they aren't so bad, but still won't eat them unless they are hidden.

Mine like it in an omelet with cheese!!

slice thinly or chop small and add to spaghetti bolognaise.
