What should I do?!
What should I do?
I have a pound of ground pork and a pound of bulk Italian sausage.
How would it be if I mixed both together for spaghetti sauce? I am using jar sauce.
Any way to doctor this up to make it taste better?

perfect, I do it all the time. I usuall take a large bowl put one lb. on the left and the other on the right and then blend the two together like you are mixing dough.
If you'd like to make sausage meatballs; add 1 egg and 1/2 cup of Italian breadcrumbs. mold together for about 3 mins. and then pinch out into balls about golfball sized. Sear in oil on the stove, until skin is brown, then put in a pre heated oven on broil for 12-18 minutes.
Viola!

well, i usually do the sauce delicious if i dont have much in hand.... butter, melt it in a pan.. tomato slice it and add pepper etc.. but u say u have the sauce so just add butter and then the italian sausage ... if u r still hungry go for the pork i say.. good luck..
Just fry your pork and sausage, add a little garlic, pinch of salt, and maybe a bit of onion. Be sure to drain the fat off of the cooked meat. Add your sauce and WA LA you have a great meal. MMMMM Now I want some! lol !!!
That would be delicious. Add fresh garlic and basil. Yumm.

I fix up jarred sauce with Fresh minced garlic, then dried herbs about a tbs of each oregano, basil , thyme, a tbs sugar (old southern trick) also 1/4 cup of white wine is nice to add. When I cook the meat I cook it with 1/2 an onion minced and 2-3 cloves of garlic minced then drain off any fat before adding to the sauce
Meatballs -- Yum!
Add some brown sugar, some worchestshire sauce and some minced garlic, along with either bread crumbs or matzo meal. Mix together, roll into mini balls and simmer in the sauce.
YUM!
