Vegetable Burgers?!

Question:

Vegetable Burgers?

Has anyone got any good and easy recipes for vegetable burgers. I want some that people have tried them selves. There are loads of recipes on the internet but I want to know what tastes good. I refuse to buy any pre made food after the programme on BBC1 showing what really happens at supermarkets. Thank you for any help.

To Azure its the supermarkets as well. Did you watch the programme?? All supermarkets do there own brands of vegetable burgers. I heard on the radio that Asda have been fined £80000 for selling food that was WAY past its use by date. Tesco's did the same on the programme. If it didn't happen they wouldn't have shown it. For everyone who has no clue what i'm talking about the programme was called whistle blowers on BBC1 worth looking at

tin of beans
and treat yourself to some very fancy stuffing, cranberry or rosemary (look on the shelf in the supermarket)

add tomato puree to the beans and mix with the stuffing, put on greased plate on the oven for 15 mins....

you can add whatever you want to teh stuffing mix, sweetcorn, bell peppers, chilli, courgettes, fried carrots are nice and sweet.... and you can glaze it with egg and cover it in porridge oats.... mmm

or mashed spud with onion and strong 5* cheese rolled in breadcrumbs... which are just toasted slices of bread rubbed thru a grater

Sorry im not sure hope you find the answer :-)

Oh for heavens sake. Stop buying into the sensationalism. Those programmes are meant to do nothing but score ratings. Supermarkets are safe and the food they sell is safe. If it's processed, like vegetable burgers are, then it's the manufacturer you have to worry about anyway, not the supermarket. Please learn to excercise some skepticsm.

What happened at the super markets?????? I eat veggie burgers from the store and I've never gotten sick....

I use this a lot and I haven't found anyone that I've given it to that didn't like it.
