How do you cook the perfect rib-eye steak?!

Question:

How do you cook the perfect rib-eye steak?

Answers:
Let your steak come to room temperature. Put plenty of sea salt and cracked black pepper on it. Put on a very hot grill, just depends how thick it is for time and your preference of doneness, turn only once!!! Let it stand for at least 5 minutes before cutting to let the juices redistribute. Alas, a perfect ribeye. ::drooling::

Rare and plenty of beer on hand

Make a Marinade first:
Worcestershire sauce
Crushed Garlic
Tsp Melted Butter
Dash of Tabasco
Dash of A-1 Steak Sauce
A Lot of Pepper
Marinade over night if possible and grill to your liking.

The marinade gives it great flavor and makes it very tender and juicy
Good Luck!!

grilling it seen perfect to me with A1 steak sauce.

on a grill

GO VEGAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SAVE THE ANIMALS!!!!!!!!!
Animals on today's factory farms have no legal protection from cruelty that would be illegal if it were inflicted on dogs or cats: neglect, mutilation, genetic manipulation, and drug regimens that cause chronic pain and crippling, transport through all weather extremes, and gruesome and violent slaughter. Yet farmed animals are no less intelligent or capable of feeling pain than are the dogs and cats we cherish as companions.

The factory farming system of modern agriculture strives to maximize output while minimizing costs. Cows, calves, pigs, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, and other animals are kept in small cages, in jam-packed sheds, or on filthy feedlots, often with so little space that they can't even turn around or lie down comfortably. They are deprived of exercise so that all their bodies' energy goes toward producing flesh, eggs, or milk for human consumption. The giant corporations that run most factory farms have found that they can make more money by cramming animals into tiny spaces, even though many of the animals get sick and some die. Industry journal National Hog Farmer explains, "Crowding Pigs Pays," and egg-industry expert Bernard Rollins writes that "chickens are cheap; cages are expensive."

My husband smokes them in our smoker using mesquite chips. Delicious!

Make sure the steak is room temperature before you start- NOT straight from the fridge.
frying pan- as hot as you can make it-just a dash of oil if it isn't non- stick. Only turn it once, and cook it for about two minutes each side (two and a half max). Then let it stand for e few minutes to rest- that way it re-absorbs its juices, and will be more tender.

I marinate it in a combo of Worcestershire and a few shakes of soy sauce and fresh garlic for about 3 hours. Then I grill for
3-4 minutes on each side for medium,,, depending on the size of the steak. Then I let it rest for a few minutes while I make a garlic/butter/parsley sauce to pour over it.
Sauteed sliced onions are also a delicious topping.

If it's raining, just fire up your oven broiler . That also works.

A little salt and pepper, medium heat, 5 min. each side, medium-medium rare. Serve with your favorite steak sauce.
YUMMY!

Preheat a grill to high heat.
Place rib-eye steaks on a large platter and season with rub on all sides. Transfer seasoned steaks to the hot grill, and cook for 4 to 6 minutes on each side for medium-rare, longer if desired. Remove steaks and let rest for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.

Rib-eye Rub:
Salt and ground black pepper
Chili powder
Cayenne pepper

In a small bowl, combine all ingredients, to taste. Adjust the ratio of spices to your preference.
