Juicy Apple Crisp:
1/2 cup regular oats
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 tablespoon thawed apple juice concentrate
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
8 cups sliced peeled Granny Smith apple (about 2 pounds)
1/4 cup thawed apple juice concentrate, undiluted
2 tablespoons water
3/4 cup vanilla light ice cream

Preheat oven to 425°.
Combine first 6 ingredients; set aside.

Combine the granulated sugar, cornstarch, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, and salt. Place the apple slices in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish, and sprinkle with the cornstarch mixture. Pour 1/4 cup juice concentrate and water over the apple mixture. Top with the oat mixture. Bake at 425° for 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Let stand for 15 minutes. Serve with ice cream.

Caramel Apple Crisp:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup granulated sugar

Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife. Combine flour and sugars in a bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture is crumbly. Add peanut brittle; toss well.

Combine apples and syrup in a bowl; toss well. Spoon apple mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish or 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with crumb mixture. Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until golden brown.

Pie crust
1 1/2 c Applesauce, unsweetened; thi
1/2 c Honey
3 tb Brandy; apple
1 tb Vanilla extract
Lemon; grated rind only
2 Tart apples
-peel-thinly slice
1/2 c Apricot jam; all-fruit

PREPARE AND BAKE crust according to recipe instructions below. Set aside. Preheat oven to 375F. In a 2-quart saucepan over med-high heat, simmer applesauce, honey, brandy if desired, vanilla and lemon rind until quite thick, about 10 to 15 minutes. Pour mixture into prepared crust. Arrange apples in concentric circles on top of sauce. In a 1-qt saucepan over med-high heat, melt apricot jam, then press through a sieve. Use a pastry brush to glaze apples with jam. Bake for 30 minutes.
Let cool before slicing.


LOW FAT Pie Crust

1 1/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. oil (Puritan, Canola, etc.)
3 tbsp. skim milk

Combine flour and salt in bowl. Blend oil and milk in bowl. Add to flour mixture. Stir with fork until forms large clumps. Press into ball. Flatten to form 5-6 inch "pancake". Roll between sheets of wax paper. Peel off top sheet. Flip into 9 inch pie pan. Remove other sheet. Press dough into pie plate and trim .

LOW FAT APPLE CRISP
7 c. sliced peeled apples
1/3 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon

TOPPING:

1 c. quick rolled oats
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. soft butter

In 2 quart baking dish put apples on bottom. In small bowl combine sugar, flour and cinnamon. Add to fruit and toss.
Topping: Combine oats, sugar and cinnamon. With 2 knives cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over fruit. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes or microwave at high for 15 minutes. 8 servings.



Apple Crisp

Sweet soft apples, mildly spiced, with cinnamony crisp brown crumbs on top! It's really good with either heavy cream or Vanilla Ice Cream on top. Enjoy! here is the recipe


5 cups peeled and sliced apples
1/3 cup water
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 pound butter, in small pieces

Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter a 1 1/2-quart baking dish, spread the apples in it, and sprinkle the water on top. Combine the flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bow, and rub the butter with your fingers (messy but fun) until it resembles coarse crumbs. Spread evenly over the apples. Bake for about 30 minutes or until the crust is nicely browned.

Easy Apple Bake

5-6 medium apples (Peel, core & slice into 1/2" pieces)
1/2 C sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 Tbs flour
2 Tbs butter
1/8 tsp each nutmeg & cloves
2 Tbs lemon juice
2-3 C granola (any flavor)

In a large bowl, stir the apples, lemon juice, flour & spices together till the apples are thoroughly coated. Pour into a very lightly greased 8x8 baking pan (glass is best). Dot with pats of butter, then pour granola on top of all that. Cover tightly with tin foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 50-60 minutes, or till apples are fork-tender.
