What did you make for dinner Saturday night?!

Question:

What did you make for dinner Saturday night?

We had friends over to watch the NZ-France Rugby game. Cooked Rack of Lamb with caramelised garlic in mashed potatoes and steamed brocolli, with Citron Syrup cake for dessert?

Answers:
I went out to eat at a cafeteria with my daughter. I had a veg plate - squash, broccoli, creamed spinach, corn. Some jalapeno cornbread and a bowl of fruit salad. My little girl had fried okra, cheesy mashed potatoes, and a chicken leg.

Sounds yummy. I grilled BBQ chicken while the little lady made salad, baked potatoes and cut up some watermelon. The perfect summer Saturday meal. . . . .

Grilled ham and swiss cheese on light rye

Pasta and meat with tomato sauce =)

I had pumpkin soup and tuna sandwich

Popped a frozen chicken pot pie in the oven and served instant mashed potatoes and a can of corn with it.

A really great low cal chicken marsala. I only make main courses with 5 or less ingredients. This only took chicken breasts, mushrooms, green onions, marsala wine. It turned out wonderful!

Chicken cordon bleu with broccoli and cheese and a salad. It was so yummy!!

I had a chicken and bacon sub and a Vault.

I wasn't quite that elaborate. I made wraps with swiss cheese, Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, crabmeat and spinach, fried in olive oil and chopped garlic. Tasty, cheap and healthy.
