I am looking for an easy dish that you think someone wouldn't find anywhere else... because you made it up, passed down generations, different countries, new food combos, etc

1 lg. ripe pumpkin
Lime
Water
Sugar

Cut pumpkin into slices. Peel and cut into 3 inch sizes. Place in large pan or turkey roaster. Mix 1 tablespoon of lime to each quart of water; stir well. Pour over pumpkin and let soak overnight. After soaking, remove pumpkin and wash thoroughly in clear water 3 or 4 times.
Put pumpkin in a large pan. Cover with warm water and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes. Drain and wash twice in cold water. Set aside and drain for 1 hour.

Weight pumpkin and use same amount of sugar. Pierce each piece several times with a fork. Place in large pan or roaster. Cover completely with sugar; moisten with water.

Bake in oven at 300 degrees oven for 3 hours or until pumpkin is crystalized. Drain syrup and place pumpkin on wax paper to dry. OK heres a easy yummy one ,,Kraft mac and cheese with a can of chili man chili in it,,

sauerkraut with hambeuger balls ////hamburger with 1 diced onion 1/2 rice and 1 tsp salt make meat balls set them in the sauerkraut simmer till done enough water to cover ) best served with fried taters with onions yummo


fettuchinni noodles with a smokey cheese sauce /shrimp
make a rue withabout 4 tlb or so butter and 3 or 4 tlb flour dont cook long then add about 1 cup milk to make like a gravy ,,add smoky guida and any combo of cheeses you like I baught the sargento 5 cheese italian combo and a small cube a smoked guida,,,mix well and add diced sun dried tomatoes,and roasted red peppers to it ,,i just added till it looked good to me:) then Put grilled shrimp all over the top,,or you could use chicken if you like or noting is ok too,,,sorry i cant give more exact details Fry 1 onion chopped, 100g of mushrooms chopped, a couple of cloves of garlic and a knob of ginger crushed and chopped in a little oil or butter (add a chopped chilli pepper if you like them) add 400g of chopped lamb and brown then add 1 chopped capsicum (green pepper) and put in a casserole dish and top with thinly sliced potatoes. Make a thin cheese sauce with a little added masala and tumeric powder (or curry powder if you dony have them) and pour over the top. Top with cheese and bake for about 40 minutes at 200 degrees celcuis or until the potatoes are tender....tastes fabulous. poppy seed chicken caserole
1 large container of sour cream
3-8oz cans of cream of chicken
1-bag of chicken strips- cook and shred(skinless)
4-sleeves of town house crackers
2-tsp poppy seeds
3-sticks of butter
you can cook the chicken in a frying pan but do not flour nor add grease to it(just spray pan with pam)
mix together sour cream,cream of chicken
when chicken is done and you have shredded it add it to the sour cream and cream of chicken
place in a bakeing pan
take the butter and melt in micro wave or how ever you want to do that
take the crackers and crumble real good
add the butter to the crackers and add the poppy seeds mix well
add that on top of your mixture
preheat oven to 350 bake until crackers are golden brown
