Sometimes chicken broth gives unpleasant smell?!

Question:

Sometimes chicken broth gives unpleasant smell?

inspite of using garlic and spices.
how to remove this particular chicken smell
while roast, broast and oven roast have no such smell.

Answers: Rinse the chicken thoroughly in cold water...pat dry.
Use lemon or any type of citrus if you don't like the "smell" of chicken i know what you're talking about. do you skim your broth? as it boils, there is a brown scum that rises to the surface during the first few minutes of cooking. it's the marrow and stuff boiling out of the bones. if you take a spoon and lift that out, it should make a clearer broth that will smell and taste better.
