Just make regular Jello in a "red" flavor and a "blue" flavor. Start with making the 'red' Jello and fill each shot glass 1/3 of the way full. Put in the fridge and allow to set. Then make the 'blue' jello and pour into the glasses another 1/3 of the way. Let that set, then pipe in whipped cream on top.

I know you don't want a cake recipe, but have you ever made cupcakes in ice cream cones instead of muffin liners? Nothing changes in the recipe, you just bake them in the cones instead (fill 3/4 full). Once they're frosted they look like ice cream cones. You could alternate frosting them in red, white & blue frosting. white frosted brownies with strawberries and blueberries
follow the recipe on the brownie mix box

or even easier

2 cups thawed whipped cream
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
1 cup sliced strawberries

1. Spoon 1/4 cup of the whipped topping into each of eight dessert dishes. Using back of spoon, spread whipped topping onto bottom and up side of each dish.
2. Fill evenly with berries just before serving. Store leftover desserts in refrigerator.

Yield: 8 servings these look really good check them out theyre like cakes and stuff! Jell-o!

Or fresh blueberries, raspberries, and real whipped cream! get red jello and blueberries and mix em, then let the jello harden and then put whip cream on it like stripes. 4th of July Dessert Pizza- kinda unique

OR

Shot Glass Dessert

INGREDIENTS:
3/4 cup boiling water
3-ounce package gelatin, your favorite flavor (Red or Blue)
1/2 cup cold water
ice cubes
1/2 cup cool-whip
PREPARATION:
Pour boiling water into blender. Add gelatin. Cover and blend at low speed until dissolved, about 30 seconds. Combine cold water and ice cubes to make 1-1/4 cup. Add to gelatin and stir until ice is almost melted.

Add whipped topping; blend at top speed for 30 seconds. Pour into tall-stemmed glasses or large shot glasses. Chill for 30 minutes. Layers begin to show up as dessert chills. Garnish with coordinating fruit if desired.

Or is that too grandma like for you?
Sorry but that comment was insulting to people who do like that cake! I'm seventeen and not that these new desserts I just posted aren't "cool" or whatever, but the most popular girl in my grade just brought that cake to my party! Guess it's not only for old ladies...! pound cake topped with strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. With fresh whipped cream. So good after a big meal and very easy to prepare ahead of time if you have containers. American Flag Pudding

Simple dessert that is perfect for patriotic occasions.

Ingredients
8 ounces Cream cheese
4 ounces Vanilla yogurt
1/4 cup Granulated white sugar
4 ounces Ricotta cheese
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Blueberries and rasberries/strawberries for garnishing

Preparation
1. mix all ingredients in blender or food processor thoroughly.

2. Spread into 9"X13" pan.

3. Arrange rasberries/strawberries into stripes and blueberries into stars.

4. Chill for 20 min. Wow....yum! Alex's suggestion sounds really great! The pizza is a good idea because you can probably cut the slices small and then many people can eat it. It's the most original thing on here...and it sounds delicous!

The shot glass thing...mmmm! Not that I think a FOURTEEN year old should be using shot glasses, but as long as there is no alcohol in it, just jello, sounds good and really cool. Unique, unusual, and sounds delish!

I'm not a chef or anything, but I think you should make one of those, they sound great and everybody will think you're the coolest person at the party!
