i meant black swan. Cheap and good, that's a tough one. Franzia boxed wines are cheap, and if you're not trying to impress anyone, their not bad either. They make a refreshing white and I think a merlot.
If you have a Trader Joes nearby, you can't go wrong with 2 buck Chuck. Zinfandel is the cheapest around here. But look for sales or go with one from Australia. welll if u want to no the truth u should not be having this f********* stuf so ur loss Try Sutter Home White Ziffandel or Pinot Grigio...those are pretty good and under 10 bucks at most places... Well, I see that you have cheap covered--but the answer for best isn't in the choices you mentioned.

I'm not a wine snob but I am an appreciator--that's why my husband and I go to free or semi-free wine tastings, so that we can taste different kinds of wine in all sorts of price ranges--not that we can afford wines over about $15-20 a bottle--but it's nice to at least make a comparison.

Maybe you might try that and really get an idea of what's out there and what you really like. Low price isn't the best reason for buying wine--what it tastes like should be just as important. The other thing to think about is whether it is a wine you want to just drink by itself or with food. Some wines taste better with food than just by themselves so that is something to consider.

So, my answer is that there isn't a good cheap wine unless YOU think it's a good cheap wine. You should try some box wines, like black box. They are cheap, and keep really well if you don't guzzle the entire thing in one night. Man....get the 5 liter wine in a box......perfect on a budget and good too! Barefoot Pinot Grigio or Savignon Blanc

Comes in 1.5L and 750ml

They also make Merlot, Cab, White Zin, and a Zinfandel.

Good stuff and pretty inexpensive!
