Answers: Do what I did because your new to cooking and not too familiar with the cuts of meat and how to cook them. Go to the Meat Dept. and don't be embarrassed! Ask the guys there which cut of steak is good for frying also ask what you should look for when buying a steak, they will show you about marbling---that's when there is good amounts of fat running throughout the steak that will make it tender. Look for a good red steak and make sure that there is no running blood in the package. You want the juices in the meat not the package. Season it with salt and pepper and cook it on at a gas setting of med-low, this means that the fire is between medium and low make sure you add oil to your pan, I use olive oil. Never use a Fork or a Knife to poke or turn your steak, it will release the juices from your steak, use tongs. Cook for about 4to 5 minutes per side then remove and set aside and let it rest for 15 to 20 min. to let the juices set in the meat so that your steak is juicy. Here is a good web site for you. But if your not sure how to choose your meat or how to cook it always ask the butcher, I still do! Source(s):

How to fry a steak Grill it..that is the best way then I usually cut a little slice it to see if it is how you want it A good steak shouldn't be seasoned much or marinated in a complicated sauce.
The most important thing about steak is to buy a good one. Go to the butcher or butcher section of the store and look at those delicious steaks: ribeyes, porterhouse, filets. Don't buy a cheap steak. Buy some Lawry's seasoning salt while you're there. Buy some worstershire sauce too.
Take the steaks home, fire up the grill to a fairly hot temp. Throw the steak on the grill, shake some seasoning salt. Splash some worcestershire and cook until the steak is slightly pink in the middle and charred on the outside. It's easy. Broiler. 5 minutes per side for an inch and a half thick (standard cut) steak. Should be dark on outside but red in the middle. OK. Im not gonna give you a complicated answer. The way I cook my steak is to lightly season it with garlic powder and only garlic powder. I like to taste the steak, not the seasoning. I will put it on the grill on a pretty low setting for 10 minutes on the first side, flip it, and 5 minutes on the second. Keep in mind that I like my steak medium rare. Hope it helps! I place it under the grill in the oven for about 4 minutes per side, depending upon the cut and the thickness. have a gas stove
with an attatchment for doing barbecue. it vents outside for smoke.
spread barbecue sause on and throw on grill for 3 min each.
Very RARE grilling it is the best way
it tastes awesome Grill it flip and untill it's dark brown and not dripping red stuff
