Oatmeal...?!

Question:

Oatmeal...?

How do you like to make your oatmeal taste good,
I like to add brownsugar and just a few chocolate chips. Or dice an apple and put it in with cinnamon. What about you?

Answers: I like mine with a little maple syrup in it and a few bananas. Yeah I usually add brown sugar. If I want it to be creamy, I make it with milk (plus that adds calcium). If I want it not-so-creamy, I just make it with water. Sometimes I add blueberries, too. Cinnamon or cinnamon sugar tastes pretty good too. I know some people put butter in their oatmeal, but that sounds pretty gross. I love oatmeal! I like to add brown sugar, cinnamon, and a few blueberries. I love it Brownsugar and cinnamon,
a little maple syrup (not pancake, maple!)
A pat of butter (not margarine, real butter, it's healthier!) brown sugar and raisins.. great! Quaker Apples and Cinnemon Oatmeal is awesome. I can eat 5 or 6 packs at a time in a bowl for breakfast. My standard is brown sugar, butter and raisins. Yummy. DARK brown sugar, make it with milk. My wife likes it with cinnamon and raisons so that's how i make it.

I love oatmeal but I only eat it in the winter. Dunno why, it's just the perfect cold morning breakfast. Or to eat after being out in the snow... I hate sweet things, but being diabetic I should really be eating something like oatmeal for slow release energy. I usually (when I can be bothered) fry some bacon lardons and mushrooms and onions and garlic with loads and loads of black pepper and stir that into the porrige - having drained the fat off first. Mmmm. And if I am feeling really adventurous - when I am alone I would add some chilli and garlic sauce!. Quaker Oats with Brown sugar, butter and a little milk, sometimes rasins. Malt O Meal, just the butter and little milk.
