Does anyone know how to make Chestnut Flour?


Answers: If you have to make it yourself you would take chestnuts and score the shell (if you don't do this they will explode like little chestnut bombs when cooked). Next you roast them in the oven and then peel them. Then they need to be dehydrated either in a machine or in the sun. Finally you would grind them into a super fine powder and sift this powder to remove any large pieces or pieces of skin left behind. The fine powder is essentially chestnut flour.

This is a very time consuming project for someone to attempt at home. I would suggest buying it.
