Broiling rib eye steak?!


Question:

Broiling rib eye steak?

Do you put water in the bottom of the broiling pan?? ive never done this before.. it looks like you should but i dunno.. allss i know is you open the little door on the bottom of the stove and stick it in there.. so anyone can help me id appreciate it

no no its all there ... i just thought that little sunken in piece was for water..


Answers:

Just put the steak on the top section of the pan and don't forget to turn it over half way through cooking. the divot in the bottom is to catch the drippings. Also leave the door partially open. A little trick on cleaning it is to clean it while it hot or at least pretty warm, at the very least put water in it after the steak is cooked and the pan will come clean real easy.
