ok i have cruched garlic. How much do i use for 5/8 a crushed one to equal it? its 1/2 tsp. = 1 clove

Answers:

I think a crushed clove of fresh garlic may give a stronger taste, but i dont see why you can't use powdered. I buy jars of the pre-minced garlic, it lasts for ages and is exactly the same as if you have crushed a clove yourself. Its called "Lazy Garlic" obviously for a reason!
Hope your dish turns out nice!
5/8 i think means that if your bulb of garlic has 8 individual cloves then you would use 5 of them crushed up. (don't quote me on that though!)
