What is the difference between a gas or electric stove for baking and cooking?!

Question:

What is the difference between a gas or electric stove for baking and cooking?

Answers:

The main difference is the stove top. Electric stoves give you less control over making a pan hotter or less hot quickly. If your sauteing on an electric stove and it gets too hot you have to pull the pan off and stop cooking so the element can cool down, on a gas stove the heat goes down immediately. As far as the oven goes, usually the coil is directly under the bottom rack in an electric stove and if you have a full oven your bottom trays are more likely to burn being so close to the element, on gas the flame is below the bottom of the oven giving you more balanced heat.
