How do you dry strawberry's?!

Question:

How do you dry strawberry's?

You know like special k red berrys do you refrigeurate them...?

Answers:

No, you heat them very slowly in the oven at about 170 F. for about 10 hours

I have a dehydrator, but the theory is the same.

Preparation: Make sure they are clean and free from blemish
Slice them so that they dry quickly and lay the slices, not touching each other, onto parchment paper NOT wax paper, as the wax will melt.

When the strawberries are crisp, they are ready. Store in an airtight container to make sure they stay dry and crisp.

(Freezing strawberries make them go mushy and if you just keep them in the fridge, they will go moldy.)
