How do you think my cinnamon rolls will turn out?
I decided to try a new recipe for cinnamon rolls this morning, without first realizing that I was running low on flour. The recipe called for two packets of yeast, but I accidentally only used one. I did use self-rising flour, though. The recipe called for 8 cups of flour, and I only had 5 to spare. It called for two cups of milk, so I only used half of that. It also called for two eggs, a package of instant pudding, 2 tsp. salt, 1/2 c. sugar, and 1/2 c. oil. The dough turned out a little wet and sticky. I didn't deem it useless, though. I'm going to go through with it and see how the finished product turns out. How do you think the cinnamon rolls will be effected? Do you think I should use less or very little butter when putting my filling on top? The dough is rising now. What do you think?
