Anoldmick - yes, I think there MUST be something lost in translation. Do you REALLY have porn with your yorkshire pudding?

They are all good & I would eat Yorkshire pudding with all of them (& a dish of stuffing too - and apple sauce is good with chicken or turkey.....).
However, the real traditional way to eat the Yorkshire pudding is BEFORE the main course. You would have the pudding on its own with onion/herb gravy over it. That way you would fill yourself up with the pudding, which was cheap & not need to eat so much beef, which was expensive.
Try it - its good that way. Also, as kids, if there were any left over puds we would have them with jam on. Delicious!
