How can I make my cakes Moist?

I add sour cream to my mix and use less water. I normally add about 1 1/2 cups of sour cream and reduce the water by half. Also when i get the cakes out of the oven I place them in Zip lock bags so it can retain the moisteure. You will notice the difference the FIRST time you try that.
