How long does it take to grill large bacon wrapped scallops?!

Question:

How long does it take to grill large bacon wrapped scallops?

How can you tell if the scallop is fully cooked?

Answers:

The general rule of thumb for grilling scallops is two minutes per side. Remember that scallops are delicate and will continue to cook once you remove them from the heat, so you don't want to over do it.

If the the scallops are really big, then you may want to add another minute on each side, but be careful not to dry them out.

Many cultures actually eat fresh scallops raw, so technically, they are fully cooked the minute you remove them from the shell. But if you are not into the raw thing, then cook them until the tops and sides become whiter and firm up....again only a couple of minutes per side.

Good luck!
