Chicken Marinade?!

Question:

Chicken Marinade?

I have some chicken breast I'd like to bake but I want them to be tender/juicy. What's a good marinade I can use? Something quick that doesn't require it to sit all night but if it's best to let it marinate all night, I will.

Answers:

A simple marinade to try is regular Italian Salad Dressing. It can be used as a marinade for fish and other meats as well. All you do is prepare your chicken as you normally would then pour on the dressing, make sure it's covered on both sides and let sit it for a few minutes if you don't want to let it marinade all night and it's really delicious. The chicken will turn out nice and juicy.

Italian Chicken Marinade

INGREDIENTS

1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

DIRECTIONS

In a shallow baking dish, mix the salad dressing, garlic powder, and salt. Place the chicken in the bowl, and turn to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator at least 1 hour. (For best results, marinate overnight.)

Preheat the grill for high heat.
Lightly oil grate. Discard marinade, and grill chicken 8 minutes on each side, or until juices run clear.

*** Tip***

You can also use the extra marinade instead of discarding it.
Just make sure that you heat it thoroughly to kill the germs/bacteria from the raw chicken.Once the chicken is done cooking then, you can pour the cooked marinade over the meat.

I hope this was helpful,Take Care!!! :)
