Does anyone own a yogurt maker.... Is it worth the purchase?!

Question:

Does anyone own a yogurt maker.... Is it worth the purchase?

Answers:

NEVER. Buy a 1/2-1 gallon glass jar (or use one from another source ... just WASH IT THOROUGHLY. Add 1/2 a container of PLAIN yogurt and make up POWDERED milk to fill the container. Set it into a 'warm' (still warm from baking something) oven and let it 'sit' in there overnight ... no heat on, of course. In the morning, you should have a whole jar of good yogurt ... save about 1/2 cup for the next jar, and ENJOY the rest ... I love to make mine and serve it with whatever the 'fresh fruit' in season is, or add a bit of sweetener (HONEY is wonderful) and vanilla, or even some leftover and 'reduced' coffee ... YUM!
