What are the cheapest parts of the chicken?!

Question:

What are the cheapest parts of the chicken?

I am starting to cook food for my dog and was wondering if you could tell me what the cheapest parts of the chicken, lamb and turkey are to buy? Please don't exclude the bones as an option because I can pressure cook them to the point where they are ok for the digestion.

Answers:

Backs and necks are cheapest, followed by legs and thighs, wings then breasts. If you buy a stewing chicken (old hen) it is much cheaper than buying a fryer and since it is bigger has much more meat on it and should be good for dog food. Sometimes you can buy turkey legs quite cheap.
