How do I make Parmasian cups????

Do you have a recipie for parmasian cups. I know that you are suppose to take shredded parmasian, put it on foil , spray with cooking spray and bake in oven. How long do I bake and at what temp. Also can these be made the night before? and should I store them in plastic wrap, or foil, or wax paper???

These parmasian cups are lacy looking, they are going to be filled with a lite chicken salad.....


Answers:

You can make parmesan crisps and mold them into little cup shapes. And, yes, you can make them a day ahead of time and store them with some waxed paper or foil in between and wrap tightly in saran wrap until you are ready to use them.

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

You can use either parchment paper, or a silpat lined baking sheet. Pour a heaping tablespoon of freshly shredded parmesan cheese on the baking sheet, per cup or crisp, spacing about an inch or so apart. Bake for about 3-5 minutes until cheese is melted into a golden, round shape. Using a spatula, remove cheese and place gently over a small inverted coffee cup or ramekin. OR, you can place cheese crisp into a muffin pan and gently push, careful not to break the crisp apart. Let cool and viola!
