What is the right way to store bananas at home?!

Question:

What is the right way to store bananas at home?

If i leave them out, fruitflys built up and if i put them in the fridge, the bananas turn black so fast! So is there a trick, or some container i can put them in or any other smarter way to store them?

Answers:

Dark and cool place's, Also buy a banana tree, and keep them away from the direct sunlight, or heat. If you are not going to eat them right away, buy green ones, As for picking good ones, bananas that have bruises on them like black marks are the ones to stay away from. These will tend to ripen and get softer faster when you get them home, which eventually won't be eatable. Fruit flies are only attracted to over ripen fruit & veggies thet have gone beyond it fressness stage, so discard any over ripen ones before the can find them...Good luck...Enjoy
