I nedd advice on salsa?
my family is BIG on salsa and i now how to make it but i think it is to bland so anyone with advice or a recipe plz help i need it
this is my recipe so far
tomatos
red oinons
lemon
lime
salt
pepper
bannana, bell and jalapano peppers

Here is what I use...
I make a batch that will go pretty fast...
I use 4 tomatoes...
2 onions... and I grind them up into small pieces... smaller than pico de galo..
and then I use only tobasco and jalapeno peppers... the jalapeno for the flavor, and the tobasco for a little tangy spice... I grind those up...
Then I add one or two habaneros, that you can find at the local grocery store... they dont have to be too hot, because then it will be unedible...
then I add a little chili powder a few teaspoons, and a few cloves of garlic...
and after you grind everything up, so that it is small, like pea size... then you mix it all together...
i have never put lime or banana... lime sounds good...
but banana will counter the spicyness of your peppers, lowering the scoville unit...
sugar counter the hotness... so i dont add any unless it is too hot...
and try white onions instead of red onions, they are much more flavorfull and not as sweet...
that should do it... maybe it is a little different than yours... i like mine kinda spicy, i dont know bout you... hopefully it will work...
