Browning meat before slow cooking?
Why do i have to brown ground beef/mince before i cook it in the slow cooker?
Answers:
Because beef is like chicken if its not cooked right you can make yourself sick. This goes for pork as well. But also another reason they say brown it it helps cut down the time in cooking in you slow cooker and it doesn't have an oily taste in your food and you cut out most of the fat if you brown it first.
