Can you hard boil very old eggs without getting sick?!

Question:

Can you hard boil very old eggs without getting sick?

I have eggs that have remained refridgerated, are not cracked, but are several months old. Can I hard boil and consume them without worrying about getting sick?

Answers:

Test the eggs first before eating them. Eggs are porous which means that air can get in them causing them to go bad. So, place them in a deep dish (enough to where the eggs can be deeply covered) and one at a time place an egg in the dish...if it sinks feel free to enjoy eating it, and if it floats then toss it out! Do this with each egg you intend to eat.
