Does anyone know how to make 'Dumplings'?
Those puffy balls that float on top of stews, any ideas?
Answers:
250g / 8oz SR Flour
125g/4oz suet (i use vegetarian light suet)
pinch of salt, a small amount of water.
Throw all in together, mix to a dough.
Divide into small balls, roll in flour. Put on top of stew, cover tightly, simmer gently for 15 - 20mins, depending on size, Happy eating.
