Answers:

You have come to the queen of herbs. I use herbs in everything I cook because they are refreshing without adding any calories or unwanted flavors to the food. Some people might find certain herbs too strong so just go with those that work with your palate the best. Here we go:

Cilantro (goes great with poultry, beef, beans, rice pilaf & any white firm fish)
Parsley (pasta, chicken & beef)
Rosemary (wonderful with beef, steaks, roasted chicken & grilled portobello mushrooms, even potatoes)
chives (great in eggs, shrimp, salmon)
Thyme (chicken, beans, beef, soups)
Tarragon (has somewhat of a licorice flavor and it's good with salmon and for salads)
Basil (great with poultry, beef, pastas, fish, tuna)

Hope this helps you in your decision making process. I love herbs and I always have fresh ones for whenever I need to add some zig to the food. Always works great. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
