What are the ingredients for Greek salad?!

Question:

What are the ingredients for Greek salad?

Answers:

Greek salad is really just 'country' salad which means you add whatever vegetables you have in it. Traditionally we do not use lettuce in it (most restaurants do because ppl here are used to it and it is a cheap filler).

You will need tomatoes cut into wedges (keep the juicy center -don't get rid of it!)
Onion slices
Cucumbers
Feta Cheese
Olive Oil
Oregano
Salt Pepper
Kalamata Olives or good black ones (not the California ones--they are dyed black!)

You can also add garlic, lemon juice and green pepper slices etc to your preference.......yum! Yum!

Let it marinate- the tomato juice and the olive oil mix together and are delicious!!!!!!!!!

You will need good bread to soak up the juice at the bottom of the little bowls you will serve it in.
