Question:

I think it had "Caramel Apple" or "Candy Apple" in the name? It had sliced apples and sliced up snickers. Thats all I can remember. I have tried to locate it. If anyone has this recipe - I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

Answers:

It was called Candy Apple Delight.

3 large Granny Smith apples
2 (2 oz. each) Snickers bars
1/2 cup peanuts, coarsely chopped
1 can (8 oz.) pineapple tidbits, drained
1 container (8 oz.) Cool Whip, thawed

Peel, core and slice apples. Cut into pieces; place in chilled bowl. Coarsely chop candy bars into small pieces. Chop peanuts with food chopper. Add candy, peanuts and pineapply to bowl. Fold in whipped topping and serve.

Yield: 10 servings

This was always a hit back when I was in college! The Snickers bars went first (go figure) so we would always add more to the recipe.

I hope you enjoy it!
