How do you cut onions into rings (for onion rings)?!

Question:

How do you cut onions into rings (for onion rings)?

Answers:

GOLDEN ONION RINGS

Cut 6 medium onions into slices, 1/4 inch thick by cutting in between the top and bottom. Separate into rings. Combine 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 egg (beaten), 1 cup milk, and 2 tablespoons salad oil. Beat together just until dry ingredients are well moistened. Coat onion rings with batter. Fry a few at a time in deep hot oil (375 degrees), stirring once to separate rings. Drain on paper towel when golden brown. Just before eating, sprinkle with salt.
