Dose anyone have a good dough ball recipe for fishing?

DOUGH BAIT (FOR FISH)

2 c. boiling water
1 c. white flour
1 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. sugar

Then flavoring is optional: vanilla for carp, rum for catfish, Velveeta cheese for trout.


CATFISH BAIT

1 big onion, at room temperature
1 c. flour
1 c. yellow cornmeal
1/2 c. oatmeal
1/4 c. Cheeze Whiz
1 tsp. sugar (fish do not like sugar substitute)

Boil the onion in large pan until soft. Mix the remaining ingredients. Add just enough cold water to hold it all together. Knead until smooth. Roll the dough into balls about the size of marbles. Remove the onion and drop the dough balls into the water. Boil until the balls float. Scoop out balls and let them cool and harden on a plate or cookie sheet.
