What is the best way to cook a Pork shoulder roast in the crock pot?

How long, high or low...seasonings?


Answers:

here is 2 recipes and same cooking times.
4tbsp hickory smoke flavoring
2 tbsp mrs.dash original seasonings
2tbsp mince garlic
1tbsp crushed black pepper
1tbsp kosher salt or sea salt
1 can french oinion soup do not dilute
cook on low for 10 hours. or high for 5-6 hours. after taking out roast place on platter take the juice left over make gravy for pork. take and put 4tbsp flour in a bowl then slowly add juice from roast. use a wisk as you pour juice into flour continue until thickness you like. then serve.

recipe 2
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 clove garlic or 2tbsp minced garlic
1 medium onion sliced
2 bay leafs
4tbsp italian dressing
1/4 cup soy sauce
add veggies, potatoes,carrots,yellow squash, if desired on yop of roast.
place all in crock pot then cook as the above recipe calls for... hope you enjoy

MY FAVOTIRE IS THE FIRST RECIPE I LOVE THE SMOKE FLAVOR AND MRS.DASH MAKE A REALLY GOOD GRAVY FOR BEEF AND PORK. I COOK MY ROAST ON TOP OF STOVE COOK IT ABOUT 3 HOURS WITH FIRST RECIPE I BOIL IT ADD WATER AND SEASONINGS AND THE I TAKE ROAST OUT AND MAKE MY GRAVY.GAURUNTEED GOOD.
