How long can you keep sugar?!


Question:

How long can you keep sugar?

I have some special sugar "pearls" from Belgium used in making Belgium pancakes but they are many years old. Are they still good or do I have to throw them away?


Answers:

Sugar does not change state. AS long as it is kept dry, bacteria cannot grow in it due to lack of water. It will keep indefenitely
