Question about oven pork chops?!

Question:

Question about oven pork chops?

i know this is probably a stupid question but here goes....

i'm making center cut bone in pork chops in the oven covered with cream of mushroom soup at 350 for an hour.

they look good on the inside but still look kinda raw on the outside. is this normal?

is this because they are covered in the soup?

it is safe to eat the soup mixture over potatoes isn't it?

thanks for any help..

Answers:

I myself make pork chops with mushroom soup all the time. What I do is sear the chops first in a frying pan just so the outside is browned nicely, then put in an oven dish and pour the soup over top, put it in the oven for about 45 mins to an hour. The left over soup is fine for putting over your mashed potatoes or even rice if you like. Hope this helps a bit.
