Blender mould?!

Question:

Blender mould?

I forgot to wash my blender and went on vacation for a week,
when I got back my blender had mould in it.
I washed it by hand with soap and also put it in the dishwasher.
after it came out it still smelled like mould... is there a way to fix this or should I throw it out and buy a new blender?

Answers:

Get a container that you can summerge the whole blender to in. Fill with hot water and 1 cup of bleach. Don't put the rubber gasket in. Let soak overnite. If the blender top floats put something heavy on it. Rince off very, very well.
Your problem will be solved.
