Question:

I cook big mushrooms in the oven often, with some garlic in them.no butter at all.Could i use smaller mushrooms

i usually just get a big mushroom, cut out the middle bit (stalk?) crush some garlic into the middle and put on a baking tray in the oven...i dont brush it with butter or anything like that, as im trying to keep it healthy.
could i do the same with smaller mushrooms, (as they are cheaper!) ? would it work the same or not?

any other healthy mushroom recipes? cheers

Answers:

i think it would work with smaller mushrooms, sounds good so far!

you could put some worcesterchire (sp) sauce , brush it like you would the butter, for a little juice and flaver if you like the flavor of that stuff, i love it. i do my mushrooms with that and butter garlic and montreal steak seasoning, yum, good luck!
