How much molasses must I add to a cup of sugar to create the same taste as Brown Sugar?!

Question:

How much molasses must I add to a cup of sugar to create the same taste as Brown Sugar?

Answers:

Being a former chef, if you add aliquid to a soilis it is going to lose some density, a scientific fact, so you are going to need more sugar and the same amunt of molasses, so for the 1 cup of brown sugar use 1 1/4 cups of white sugar and the 1 tablespoon of molasses.

But one other thing as molasses is an inverted sugar it will keep the cake, cookies, muffins or pastry moister than just with white sugar, it is the same with honey.
