Meatloaf cook time?!

Question:

Meatloaf cook time?

I'm making meatloaf tonight and I can't seem to remember the temp or cook time. I looked online but that didn't help much. You see, I'm only using a pound of hamburger (most recipes called for two, and it's just me and my husband). Anyone know the correct temp and time? Also is it enough time and high enough temp to bake the potatoes at the same time?

Answers:

I cook almost everything at 350 degrees ( except pizza, and a few other exceptions). I would use a meat thermometer since it sounds like you've cut the recipe in half. I make huge meat loaves so I have to use a thermometer too, it's the most accurate way when you're changing things. It could take as little as 20 minutes. You'd have to cut the potatoes small or mash them to have them finish up at the same time. The basic recipe I use for meat loaf is at www.all-about-meat.com and it's pretty good.
