When mixing cake ingredients...does the direction you are whisking?
i was watching a video on youtube and some people commented on it saying "you're not supposed to mix it in different directions like that"
then what are u supposed to do? and why does it matter? how does it effect the end product?

well, interesting....i'm 59 and have been baking for most of my life and still bake alot and from 'scratch' as they say.
i've heard for my whole life that you should stir/whisk in the same direction, whether clockwise or counter-clockwise, but i have experimented some with that and i don't think it matters, in terms of quality, as long as you get the desired end product.
