I am not a big fan of BBQ sauce but this one is awesome and easy.
Espresso BBQ Sauce:
Just take store bought barbecue sauce and add 1/2 cup water, 2 tbs of brown sugar, and 1tbs of espresso (or reg coffee) powder in saucepan. Simmer until flavors blend and sauce thickens slightly, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.
And, if you really want to make your ribs special, try these Chili-Rubbed Ribs with the above sauce. They fall off the bone & melt in your mouth.
2 tbs hot Mexican-style chili powder
1 tbs paprika
1 tbs ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp salt
3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
4 lbs baby back pork ribs
12-oz Guinness (or other dark beer)
Preheat oven to 400°F. Whisk chili powder, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper in small bowl to blend. Rub spice mixture all over ribs. Place ribs in heavy large roasting pan.
Boil beer in medium saucepan until reduced to 1 cup, about 5 minutes. Pour beer around ribs. Cover pan tightly with foil. Bake ribs until fork-tender, about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Brush ribs with espresso barbecue sauce and Broil on high just until heated through, about 10 minutes.
Enjoy!
