How do I make meatballs for italian meatballs or swiss meatballs?!

Question:

How do I make meatballs for italian meatballs or swiss meatballs?

Like meatloaf, do I use bread and egg?

Answers:

For a good meatball I like to use equal portions of ground beef, veal and pork. Season w/ salt, pepper or whatever you like. Just roll the balls and brown(not cook) in a frying pan. The brwoning/searing will hold the ball together. Then just drop them in the gravey/sauce (preferably home made, but Five Brothers is good) and let them simmer for about an hour while you prepare the rest of the meal. The kitchen will smell great!

For meatloaf, I like to use eggs and just a bit of bread crumbs. Another cool idea for meatloaf is to indent lengthwise in the center and then put something inside (tomato sauce, barbacue sauce, cheese etc. Then cover the indentation with the meat. I also like to mix in bell peppers and onions and ocassionly jalepenos when I'm initially forming the loaf.
