Did i bake them all of the way?
lately i've been making a lot of brownies for parties and get-togethers. everyone's been saying that they are so chewy and delicious. the only thing is that i baked them for about 5 mintues LESS than what the directions said. i stuck a toothpick in them and it came out clean. is this ok? could this possibly hurt anyone?

Even if they weren't cooked all the way they would be fine, but yes you cooked them all the way. Every oven varies on the time and temperature. If the toothpick comes out clean they are down all the way. The chewyness comes from the actual recipe you use. The less flour and more butter or oil the more they willbe chewy. Add more flour and they will be more cake like.
