Does anyone have a recipe calling for stale soda?

I drink a lot of diet 7-up, but after a 12 oz. can is about half gone, I can't stand the taste of it anymore, so I end up throwing half of it away. It's expensive to keep doing that, but I don't know what to do with it, since I can't pawn it off on my son. The small 6 oz. cans are the same price as the 12 oz, and the liter's go stale faster than the soda in the can. Any ideas?

Oh, Bert, you're turning me on here, Toots. Here I call myself a home chef, and I never thought of that!

Make a chicken marinade with equal parts of 7-up (flat or not, doesn't matter) and vegetable oil, seasoned with minced garlic and, if you want, herbs. Marinate overnight in the fridge, then cook it on the grill or under the broiler.
